This product presents clever solutions to create your own spaces. Various combinations can be achieved with different color and material alternatives such as natural wood veneer (oak, walnut, teak), lacquer, fabric. Perforated surface options with 2 different diameters along with the material and the mass of the panel provide sound absorption. The geometry and the 3-D design of the surfaces provide sound scattering. The forms Mikodam offers are shaped with acoustic calculations and aesthetic requirements in mind. The use of this product on walls and ceilings will allow even distribution of sound preventing acoustical defects such as acoustical glare, echo or flutter echo. The isolators located between the rails and the walls stop vibrations from spreading and prevent undesired resonances.
Panel installation profiles and fasteners are not included in the panel packages and need to be purchased separately.
For wall applications and direct ceiling applications please be sure to purchase FSTN-001 SKU coded product that you will find under ‘PANEL HANGING PROFILE + FASTENERS’. For each package of (set of 2, 15.5 sqft of panels) you need to purchase 1 fasteners package. For ceiling applications where the panels will be hung at a distance from the ceiling by using wire ropes please purchase FSTN-002 SKU coded product that you will find under ‘PANEL HANGING PROFILE + FASTENERS’. Please note that the distance between the panels and the ceiling will effect the number of fasteners needed.
